HIGHLIGHTS OF TURKEY / 12 DAYS 11 NIGHTS
DAY 1: ISTANBUL

Welcome to Istanbul-Turkey. Arrive to Istanbul Airport, transfer to your hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 2: ISTANBUL

Let’s start to explore Istanbul. First visiting is Hippodrome. It was the center of sport activities of Constantinople. Famous with 4 monuments, The German Fountain of Wilhelm II, Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Column of Constantine.

Haghia Sophia, is the most famous museum in Turkey and one of the greatest marvels of architecture. Haghia Sophia was built as a church in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian then in 1453 renovated into a mosuqe by Ottoman Emperor Fatih Sultan Mehmet. It was converted into a museum in 1935 and welcoming both local and foreign visitors. (Closed on Monday)

Blue Mosque, as known as the Sultanahmet Mosque, this breath-taking building is one of the most majestic Ottoman Mosques in all of Turkey. Also it was built with unique 6 minarets. (Closed on Friday)

Topkapi Palace, which has been home to the Ottoman dynasty for many years, was used educational administrative and art center of state. Get knowledge about the imperial treasury sacred islamic relics, palace kitchens, weapons. (Closed on Tuesday)

Grand Bazaar, is the biggest market and the most attractive shopping center of Istanbul which has lots of shopping oppurtunities with carpets, leather, jewellery, turkish delight, gold, antique tiles etc.. (Closed on Sunday)

End of tour back to hotel and stay overnight.

DAY 3: ANKARA

Early in the morning pick up from Istanbul hotel and transfer to Airport. Flight to Ankara. Visit, Anatolian Civilizations Museums and Mousaleum of Atatürk in Ankara. After that depart to Cappadocia, on the way visiting Salt Lake.

Stay overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 4: CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast, start Cappadocia full-day tour. We visit Goreme Open-Air Museum which is member of UNESCO World Heritage consisting of five Byzantine Orthodox churches. After we visit Uchisar Castle, which has many rooms hollowed out into the rock are connected to each other with stairs, tunnels and passages.

After lunch break, a visit to Pasabagi (Monks Valley) the mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys with twin and even triple rock caps are very unique even for Cappadocia. Also visit Avanos (Pottery).

The last stop is Devrent Valley which is famous for its unique landscape.

End of tour back to hotel and stay overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 5: CAPPADOCIA

After breakfast, you will be picked up by our guide from your hotel. We visit Cavusin Village (Rose Valley), The Fairy Chimneys looks like mushrooms. Amazing churhes, Christian’s history. After we visit Ortahisar Castle similiar to Uchisar Castle in style where storage caves can also be observed.

After having time for lunch, visit Kaymakli Underground City where early Christians lived in fear and faith. On the way back, visit to Panaromic Pigeon Valley where pigeons contributed to the lives of locals with their manure to fertilize the vineyards.

End of tour back to hotel and stay overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 6: KONYA

In the morning drive to Konya, the City of Whirling Dervishes. On the way visiting Sultanhan Caravanserai, visit Mausoleum of Mevlana and then drive to Pamukkale.

Stay overnight in Pamukkale.

DAY 7: PAMUKKALE

After breakfast depart to Pamukkale. Pamukkale in Aegean Turkey is also called the “Cotton Castle”, because of the white cotton appearance of the mineral bath spas that abound the province, which is rich in calcium. Known as a “spa town” since the Roman era, tourists travel to Pamukkale to relax in warm, soothing and therapeutic waters in the myriad spas. Hierapolis or “Holy City” evangelized by Paul and Epaphras. Also the Apostle Philip lived and burried here. What makes Hierapolis different from most places on Earth is that it is not built on land, neither on water, but on limestone deposits above the mineral springs in the area. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the ruins that are littered all over the city, including the necropolis that houses the sarcophagi of important ancient figures like Marcus Aurelius.

After the tour, go to Kusadasi and stay overnight.

DAY 8: EPHESUS

After breakfast visiting Ephesus. Ephesus, was the second largest city in the Roman Empire over 250.000 people in the 1st BC. Ranking only behind Rome it was the second largest city in the world. Ephesus was the harbour city. This giant city was built only with marbel. Did you know Ephesus had a largest amphitheater in the ancient world over 25.000 seats. Also see Goddess Nike, Local pharmacy, Hadrian Gate, Library of Celcius (the third largest library), Marbel Street, Harbour Street.

Temple of Artemis, is located near Ephesus and was built in 6th century. It was before Seven Wonders of the world.
The House of Virgin Mary, is located top of the Ephesus and 9km far away. The places where Virgin Mary has spent her last days and the Shrine of Virgin Mary pleasures wonderful atmosphere latent in the green.

End of tour stay overnight in Kusadasi.

DAY 9: PERGAMON-TROY

In the morning leave from Kusadasi and continue to Pergamon. Pergamon, a most memorable experience will be Pergamon with its Acrapolis and Great Theatre, Altar of Zeus, Red Basilica (Once pagan temple then converted Christian church) then visit Asclepion the famous medical center of Antiquity. Then drive to Troy. You visit famous Trojan Horse, Troy Ancient Ruins, Odeon, City Walls, the Scaean Gate, Sanctuary, Roman Bath. You get inform about histories, memories, Troy Wars and more about it by our tour guide.

End of tour, stay overnight in Canakkale.

DAY 10: GALLIPOLI

In the morning after picking up, drive to Gallipoli. Visiting; Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Ari Burnu (First Anzac landing place), Australian Memorial, View of Shrapel Valley, Turkish Memorial, The Nek and Walker’s Bridge, Chunuk Bair (Main New Zealand Memorial). End of tour drive back to Istanbul and we drop you off to your hotel. Stay overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 11: ISTANBUL

At the afternoon, Bosphorus by boat and an amazing cruise between two continents Europe and Asia through out the Bosphorus by Dolmabahce Palace and Beylerbeyi Palace.

Pierre Loti hill was named by French author. He loved Ottoman woman (Aziyade name of woman). The name of the hill was given by him because of his support to the Ottoman Empire.

Cable car rides from top of the hill to the Golden Horn. Golden Horn was important in the development of Istanbul. The cove seperates the European share into two.

End of tour back to hotel and stay overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 12: ISTANBUL

Free time till departure flight. Transfer to Istanbul Airport and fly back to your home.
